Well, here we are, getting the ball rolling on this website...

I had a busy day yesterday painting faces at the Glencoe Holly Days Holiday Bazaar hosted by the Glencoe Area Chamber of Commerce. It was the first year they have sponsored a holiday bazaar, and though traffic wasn't as I had hoped, I managed to send home some kids with amazing art on their faces and cheeks. (Unfortunately, I misplaced my phone and was only able to get pictures of my "helpers" for the day.)

There were lots of colored snowflakes, gingerbread men (and women), as well as a few reindeer and one Santa Claus... Not to mention a ton of glitter and jewels. Everyone was thrilled with their purchases; some parents asking me how their kids can keep the face paint on overnight.

I have to say one of the best parts of face painting is the look of awe and the big "WOW!" from a child when I make the reveal of their design. It can't get any more rewarding than that.

I am pretty much done with face painting for the holiday season, but I have some potential parties coming up in the early part of the year. I have also already gotten bookings for May through December of 2015. I am working to book just about every weekend this summer, so if you're interested in booking a party, get your party reserved quick- I expect my calendar to fill up fast for the summer with fairs and events.

With that, I shall bid adieu. Happy Holidays to everyone! Keep creating, keep smiling, and keep dreaming.
